στο λήμμα Αλέξανδρος Δελμούζος (Αλέξανδρος Δελμούζος· γεννήθηκε στην Άμφισσα Φωκίδας το 1880· πέθανε στην Αθήνα στις 10 Δεκεμβρίου 1956· Έλληνας παιδαγωγός και κύριος εκπρόσωπος του εκπαιδευτικού δημοτικισμού· απόφοιτος Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών· το 1908 διορίστηκε διευθυντής στο Παρθεναγωγείο του Βόλου όπου εισήγαγε την δημοτική γλώσσα και τις αρχές του σχολείου εργασίας (πρώτος Πανελλαδικά)· θεωρείται μία από τις σημαντικότερες προσωπικότητες στο χώρο της νεοελληνικής εκπαίδευσης· ίδρυσε το (Πρότυπο) Πειραματικό σχολείο Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης του ΑΠΘ)
