στο λήμμα Γεώργιος Άβλιχος (Τεργέστη, 2 Απριλίου 1842-1909· Έλληνας λόγιος, ποιητής, μουσικός και ζωγράφος· μητέρα του ήταν η σλοβενικής καταγωγής Γελτρούδη Πρίμιτζ που μετοίκησε στην Κεφαλονιά και παντρεύτηκε τον Ληξουριώτη έμπορο Γεώργιο Θ. Άβλιχο (πατέρα του ποιητή Μικέλη Άβλιχου, 1844-1917), του οποίου ο Γεώργιος έλαβε το επώνυμο· σπούδασε ζωγραφική· εργάστηκε ως βιβλιοθηκάριος παραδίδοντας ταυτόχρονα και μαθήματα ζωγραφικής· υπήρξε επίσης ποιητής και μουσικός· έγραψε στη δημοτική γλώσσα, ενώ το 1883 παρουσίασε στο κοινό το έμμετρο δράμα του Η καταστροφή των Ψαρών· ασχολήθηκε και με τη μελοποίηση ποιημάτων)
