στο λήμμα Ανδρέας Εμπειρίκος (Ανδρέας Εμπειρίκος (2 Σεπτεμβρίου 1901 - 3 Αυγούστου 1975)· Έλληνας ποιητής, πεζογράφος, φωτογράφος και ψυχαναλυτής· γεννήθηκε στη Μπράιλα της Ρουμανίας· σπούδασε φιλοσοφία και αγγλική φιλολογίας· μαζί με τους αδελφούς του Μιχάλη και Μαρή Εμπειρίκο, υπήρξε ιδρυτής της Εθνικής Ατμοπλοΐας Ελλάδος (1909-1935), της Embiricos Brothers, της Byron Steamship Co. Ltd. καθώς και άλλων εταιρειών· έζησε στο Παρίσι την περίοδο 1926-1931, όπου συνδέθηκε με τον κύκλο των υπερρεαλιστών και ασχολήθηκε ενεργά με την ψυχανάλυση· το 1931 εγκαταστάθηκε οριστικά στην Ελλάδα, πραγματοποιώντας την πρώτη εμφάνισή του στα ελληνικά γράμματα το 1935· πατέρας του ήταν ο Λεωνίδας Ανδρ. Εμπειρίκος (1872-1947)· σύζυγός του υπήρξε η Μάτση Χατζηλαζάρου και αργότερα η Βιβίκα Εμπειρίκου με την ο
